I met a Marine officer recruiter the other day who said that the Marines are the only branch that can guarantee me a slot in flight school upon completion of OCS. Is this a true statement?
Is it true that the military is suffering pilot shortages much like the civilian aviation pilot shortages?
I am currently in my final year of university with my major being Aviation Management with Flight (by the end of next year I will be a commercial pilot), what advantage will this give me (if any) over other potential military pilots? and would I have higher chances in a different branch to the marines?

Thanks!

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
